Standard Birth Doula Package: For families who are delivering within 60 miles of Mora, MN, my birth doula services are valued at $800.
Travel Doula Package: For families who live or are delivering more than 60 miles from Mora, MN, my services are valued at $1000 due to the additional time and cost of driving.
Both birth doula support packages include:
Free consultation to meet, answer questions, discuss my services, and talk about what you're looking for.
-1-2 prenatal visits, usually in your home. We will spend time getting to know each other, discuss your vision for your birth and my role as part of your support team, and talk through your preferences for your birth and newborn care. I can provide prenatal education, practice common labor positions with you, answer your questions, suggest exercises to help with your baby's position or to relieve pain, plan for your postpartum time, and more.
-Attendance and support throughout your labor and birth. Early in labor, we will connect through text and phone calls as needed until you are ready for me to join you at your home, hospital, or birth center. I will stay with you until after your baby's birth and provide continuous support as we discussed at your prenatal visits.
I offer a wide variety of support methods, including:
-Postpartum support in the 1-2 hours immediately after birth, including assistance with breastfeeding or bottle feeding as needed, and helping you settle in after the birth of your baby.
-1 postpartum visit within the first few weeks of birth, to discuss your birth experience, provide baby feeding support and care tips as needed/desired, help with light tasks around your home, help you find any resources you may need, etc.
-On call support via phone, text, and email. I'm on call for you as soon as we agree to work together.
-Notes and photos from your birth, if desired and discussed at your prenatal visit.
-Access to my lending library of books and resources related to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and more.
-Referrals to practitioners with whom I have established relationships, if needed.
A $400 deposit will reserve your place on my calendar. This is non-refundable because I will be declining other potential clients due in the same timeframe. The balance is due by 37 weeks.
Cards, check, cash, and HSA funds are accepted.
I am passionate about being able to support families. If you are interested in working with me, but finances are a concern, send me a message so we can work out a payment plan or other arrangement.
